In trading on Monday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Gold Fields (GFI), up about 9% and shares of Barrick Gold (ABX), up about 7.9% on the day.
